Yesterday they closed off a bunch of streets in the Mission District to let people ride their bikes without the risk of getting run over by San Francisco’s Worlds Worst Drivers © . Since they closed the street in front of our house we decided to take advantage of it. Bruno has a little balance bike that has no pedals to turn. It allows him to glide along and learn how to balance and is suppose to help him when he graduates to a pedal bike. Then he just has to concentrate on pedaling. Here’s some video of the day. He also had a friend from his school come by and have a play date. It was a really nice afternoon and I’m looking forward to the next street closing – which is sometime in July.
