This past Monday we got to meet Bruno’s little sister. I would love to share pictures but because she’s still a ward of the state we don’t have any. I would do a photoshop of Bruno as a girl but that may be embarrassing for him later when someone finds it on the internet. But honestly, she looks like a super girly version of Bruno.
Her social worker met with us at a Barnes & Noble midway between our cities. The baby was very bright and attentive. She is already googling and making noises and she eats a lot. She even rolled over twice during her diaper change. She’s three months old and seems pretty advanced. Tony would kill me for saying this, but she would look so cute with earrings.
Her hair is a lot looser with the curls than Bruno’s hair. Her eyes sort of twinkle. Bruno was interested in interacting with her and even held her in his lap. The look of, “ok… now what?” on his face was priceless.
So, we are going to have a few more visits with her and if all goes well she will be coming home with us in April. The countdown begins!

Fantastic! I remember how exciting it is to meet your new child for the first time – I should, it was less than 4 months ago
Mine are 5, 3, and 2 right now. I’d suggest a playdate, but 1,000 miles might be a little far to travel for that…

well, the princess thing is actually about the royalty of our family. Bruno is our prince and Bianca will be the princess to these two big queens!

Wow! Super update from you guys. It’s funny that you’re already on the princess kick. We never bought anything princess related or mentioned the word princess, and yet our 3 year old has a box of princess outfits and is very focused on princesses. It will be fun to see you leather boys with your little princess.
