quick update

didn’t want to leave you all hanging… the meeting today with the social workers went great. There are a few more hurdles to jump (more than there were with Bruno) but I am pretty confident it will all work out. We got to see a picture of her and oh… my… god… she is so fucking gorgeous. I mean, Bruno is so handsome and we knew if she was even half as pretty as him that she would be something. Well, we were pretty blown away beause she’s a baby supermodel. For real.
Anyway, more to come soon. No pictures yet because she’s not fully “adoptable” yet. Wish us luck – it’s going to be a crazy new year!

if it all works out, it won’t be until after April 1st. So, we still got some time to get ready.

How come there are more hurdles this time? If anything shouldn’t it be easier since you’re already doing such a fantastic job with her brother?

It’s not that we aren’t qualified but when we got Bruno he was six months old and further along in the legal paperwork. She just has a lot more legal stuff to get straightened out before we can get her.

Seeing your previous post, I can understand how it feels to be able to adopt two siblings and have them grow together.
