another reason to hate new yorkers (except for the one's that are my friends and loyal readers): yesterday after folsom street fair (which was a blast) my friend brian and i went to a party. it was a crowd in which we only knew about three people, which was fine, because lately i've been trying to meet new people and i'm running out of friends to screw. my friend rob was telling a story about how when he talks to people from ny who come to san francisco, they are always very gung-ho about moving here and how much they love it (who could blame them?). then he said that he though that ny was sooo much better than san francisco. so i was like, "well, where did you grow up?" and he said "here". so i said, "well, that's why. i was born and raised in ny, so i was very ready to move away". then this ny artfag pipes in, "so you are from ny? i am too. where were you raised?" and i said, "well, i was born in the city but was actually raised in the Poughkeepsie area." then he said, "oh... i bet you always drop that part when you tell a story. I was raised in manhattan". i wanted to kill him, right there with my bare hands. then brian and i were hanging out in the bedroom and he walks in and says, "this reminds me of my apartment in the city. i have a brownstone." so i said, "and i bet you're all alone there too." and walked out. eat that, bitch.
